4 ways to solve the problem of "level stratification"

Source:小编 popularity: Time:2020-08-13 10:35:22

Layer layering refers to the layers that were originally compacted and pressed together during the layer-by-layer

construction  of light-curing 3D  printing, as shown in the figure  below,  separated into  layers.  It's  as if a  book  was

originally  put  together,  and  suddenly  someone started flipping it quickly.

4 ways to solve the problem of "level stratification"(图2)

Layer  stratification  is  usually  caused  by  a problem in  one layer,  which affects the subsequent layers. Just like

standing in a line,  a person standing crooked  will  affect the  queue of subsequent people,  and a straight line will be

messed up. So, what causes the stratification?

                                                                                  Exposure time

Insufficient exposure time may lead to insufficient curing of the layers. In the process of continuous layer-by-layer

construction,  part  of a layer  is missing  due  to  insufficient  curing,  so that  subsequent  layers  cannot  be  normally

connected to the previous layer, and layer delamin-ation problems occur.

                                                                                       Support

If the support is not added in place, it will cause  some layers  (especially the lowest point) to have no support, or

the support will not play its due role. During the printing  process,  the corresponding  position  of the layer will cause

printing  due  to lack  of support.  Failure,  and  the subsequent  layers  cannot be normally connected to the previous

layer, and the layer layering problem occurs.

                                                                                    Lifting speed

A higher lifting  speed may cause problems with film release, which is directly reflected in the layer, and the layer

layering problem occurs.

                                                                                   Layer thickness

If the Z-axis of the machine is not stable enough, at a higher lifting speed, a thicker layer thickness will  aggravate

the  instability.  In addition,  thicker layer  thicknesses may not  be sufficiently cured in a shorter exposure time.  These

may lead to layer separation,  incompleteness or even shift.
